c. Accom: There are various RAF and Army Units in the
local area, accommodation should be booked by individuals. Accommodation

d. Draw: The draw will take place in the café at Woodland View
between 0800 and 0830hrs (Café opens 0730hrs, teas coffees
breakfasts are available).
e. Timings: Fish 1100 till 1600hrs.
f. Pools: Optional
Pools will be available.
g. Rules: As per NFA, RAFCAA and local fishery rules
(see enclosure). Pike and Zander DO NOT count.
h. Bait bans: See fishery
rules.
i. Eligibility: Only Military, MOD employed civilians and Honorary Members/Old
Lags
are eligible to fish (see Annex B extract of RAFCAA Admin Directive).

Results: At Draw venue approx 1800hrs.
k. Fees: Entry fee is £42.00 per team. Cheques should be made
payable to SERVICE FUNDS RAF BRAMPTON/WYTON. Individual entries will
be accepted at £14.00 per angler.
l. Practice: This is a commercial
fishery practice can take place up until the match day.
m. Entry: The venue has limited space and requires a deposit to secure
pegs, with this in mind teams and individuals wishing to enter can do
so in one of the following ways:
1. Pay 50% of Team or individual fees before 21st
May 07 and the remainder of the fees to the Match Secretary before
17th Aug 07.
2. Pay 100% of Team or individual fees before 21st May
07.
Under no circumstances will any non-secured entries be accepted after
21st May 07. It is incumbent on Station reps to get the monies from their
respective PEds and accounts staff. Please do not allow a payment delay
to prevent entry. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN unless an urgent operational
requirement prevents any angler attending, refunds may be given at the
discretion of the RAFCAA (Coarse) Chairman upon a formal request from
a Station or individual.
n. Travel authority: Travel authority has been but at this time the
reference is not available but will be forwarded at a later date.
2. The Championships will comprise of teams of 3 anglers each angler
fishing one of 3 Sections. Results will be determined using a default
scoring system ie 1st in Section 1 point, 2nd 2 points etc. Those failing
to weigh in will receive a score equal to the number of anglers in that
Section plus 1. The winners will be that team which has the lowest aggregated
points over the 3 Sections, in the event of a draw on points, total team
weight will decide.
3. It is the responsibility of each Team Captain to ensure that members
of his team are in possession of a valid EA Licence. Random checks will
be carried out at the draw.
4. All Health and Safety concerns are to be addressed to RAFCAA (Coarse)
Chairman. It is the responsibility of all Station reps to ensure that
any civilian in their team is fully insured and has completed a copy
of Annex R to the Admin Directive.
5. All anglers are to be conversant with NFA, RAFCAA and local match
rules. Station reps / Captains are responsible for ensuring a full understanding
of the rules by their anglers.
6. Any complaints or objections are to be submitted in writing to the
Match Secretary immediately after the match where they will be considered
by the RAFCAA (Coarse) Committee.
7. All trophies won last year are to be returned in a clean condition
to the Trophies Rep Sgt John Summerson by the morning of the match prior
to the draw.
8. There will be a charity raffle after the match donations for prizes
will be gratefully accepted.
9. Bait for the match can be ordered through the onsite Tackle Shop
(01905 621521).

WOODLAND VIEW MATCH RULES
1. Maximum pole length 16.5 Metres.
2. Two Keepnets to be used in matches
3. Fish 2lb and under plus all silver fish to go in one net, all other
fish to go in the second net.
4. Only maggots, casters, worms, luncheon meat, sweetcorn and Woodland
Wonder pellets allowed as bait.
5. No other baits to be used on site.
6. A maximum of 2 pints of Woodland Wonder feeder pellets should be used
during any match.
7. Only Woodland Wonder hook pellets are allowed as pellet hook bait.
8. Anglers should not make paste from feeder pellets.
9. No other baits are permitted.
10. The total quantity of baits allowed during a 5 hour match is 8 pints
in total.
11. The maximum quantity of worms allowed in any match is 1 Kilo (1 Kilo
of worm equals 3 pints).
12. Only 1 Kilo of worm must be used before chopping up and these must
always be washed before chopping.
13. A maximum of 6 pints of sweetcorn is allowed in any match. (10 x
300grm tins are equals 6 pints).
14. Luncheon meat should be hook bait only no loose feeding.
15. Luncheon meat size should be no smaller than ¼ inch or 1 cm.
16. Powder additives of any type are banned.
17. Liquid additives are permitted.
18. Only Barbless hooks are to be used.
19. Maximum hook size 12.
20. No Method Feeders.
21. No braid.
Any bait not used during match is to be deposited in litter bins provided
or taken home and not thrown in.
