2002/03 Season Report

The Royal Air Force is supporting the National Fishing Week and Take A Friend Fishing events taking place this year between 21st July-31st August 2007.

Our event is being held at Bridges Lakes Old Leake Boston Lincolnshire, with the kind permission of owner Mr J Royle.

To fit in with the overall format of the event nationally the only stipulation will be that each angler must be accompanied by a non-angler and they will alternate throughout the day with the intention for the non-angler doing the majority of the fishing.

The day is aimed at all ages and sexes and it is hoped to provide a platform for newcomers into the sport.
There will be a selection of instructors/helpers from the Royal Air Forces angling team, committee and a National Federation of Anglers approved coach.

In addition to this 4 x world champion Bob Nudd is supporting our event and will be coming along to pass on his expertise.
